Introduction

The Making Spaces project is one of Sustained Theatre’s principal workstreams and is intended to establish a network of spaces across the country where Sustained Theatre artists and companies can develop their creative work.

Arts Council England has set aside £5 million capital funding to support the establishment of the network.

Following the issuing of a Call for Partners in March 2010, work is underway with seven priority projects which will form the core of the network and be applying to the Arts Council for a share of the capital funding.
